By visiting our website, creating an account, installing our applications, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.

Personal information you choose to provide. When you register for an account, request a demo, place an order, or contact our support team, we may ask for information such as your full name, email address, phone number, school or institution name, designation, billing address and shipping address. Providing this information is voluntary; however, certain features of the Services may not be available if you choose not to provide it.

Registration information. To create and manage your StudynLearn account, we collect details such as your username, password (stored in encrypted form), institution details, and any preferences you set up during onboarding.

Information collected automatically. When you use our website or applications, we may automatically collect technical information such as your device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, app version, and general usage statistics, as described under "How We Use Your Information" below.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account & Service Delivery: to create and manage your account, process orders, schedule installations, and provide access to the IFP, AI Teaching Suite and Digital Content you have subscribed to.
• Camera: with your permission, our applications may access your device's camera to enable features such as document/whiteboard scanning, video conferencing, and AI-assisted classroom recognition tools. The camera is accessed only when you actively use these features.
• Storage: with your permission, our applications may access device storage to let you save, open, share and back up lesson plans, presentations, recordings and other learning content created within the Services.
• Phone Number: used to verify your identity via OTP, to send order, shipping and installation updates, and to provide customer support. See "Phone Number Collection and Consent" below.
• Name and Email Address: used to personalise your account, send order confirmations, invoices, support responses, and important service communications.
• Usage Data: we analyse how features of the Services are used (e.g. which tools are opened, session duration, error logs) to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and prioritise new features.
• Communications: to send administrative messages, security alerts, policy updates, and — where you have opted in — promotional information about new products and offers.

We collect your phone number with your explicit consent at the time of registration, demo request, or order placement. Your phone number is used solely for purposes such as OTP-based identity verification, order and installation updates, delivery coordination, and customer support follow-ups.

We do not share your phone number with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes. You may withdraw consent for non-essential communications (such as promotional messages) at any time by contacting us using the details in the "Contact Us" section below; please note that certain transactional messages (e.g. OTPs, order updates) are necessary for the Services to function and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

SmartSchool Education does not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers and vendors who help us operate the Services — including logistics and installation partners, payment gateways, cloud hosting and analytics providers — under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary to perform their functions.
• Business partners involved in product activation, warranty support, or bundled services that you have opted into.
• Your school or institution, where the Services are provided as part of an institutional subscription and certain usage information is shared with administrators for academic oversight.

Certain disclosures. We may also disclose information where required to (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms & Conditions, including investigation of potential violations; (c) detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property or safety of SmartSchool Education, our users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, understand how visitors use our site, and improve your overall experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.

StudynLearn's Services are designed for use within schools and educational institutions. Where students under the age of 15 use the IFP, AI Teaching Suite or K-12 Digital Content, this is done under the supervision of, and with consent provided by, their school, teachers, or parents/guardians, who are responsible for managing the account and overseeing the student's use of the Services.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 15 outside of this institutional context. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us using the details below so we can take appropriate action.

You agree not to use the Services to send unsolicited bulk messages ("spam"), to harass other users, or to transmit any unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene or infringing content.

Consequences of violation. Any violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Services, removal of offending content, and — where required by law — disclosure of relevant information to law enforcement authorities.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
